The Goopper Awakening Begins!
"From shell-bound slimes to legendary power..."
For months, the Goopper Grotto lay silent. The Ancient Runes are still active, still scattered across Santae, most remained untouched. Without their matching companions, there was no way to activate them... until now, they have emerged and in great numbers.
Vespera had traveled to the Grotto to investigate recent magical shifts, and had made a shocking discovery! Tucked behind a layer of moss was a small etching on the inner wall, showing the original Goopper forms and one more she never had seen.
“At first, I thought it was just another variation we hadn’t logged,” she told Allarice. “But… the shape, the symmetry, it doesn’t resemble any Goopper. It’s something older.” “It might be a myth.
Or a mistake. Or… the first of them all.” She calls it the Gastromyth and now, the Grotto hums with magic once more. Further research is needed to uncover this.
Adventurers across Santae have begun to report sightings of new Goopper evolutions emerging deep within the Grotto's mossy depths. Perhaps something even more mysterious will be uncovered.

Each Rune collected helps us uncover more about this long-lost creature and supports the evolution of Goopper companions from across the regions.
Next Update
In our next update we’ll address a recent staff conduct issue and talk about some next steps. Also, we have brought in a new member of Management, they will introduce themselves soon!
Regarding Chest Items
Between June 23rd and June 25th, the associated Minimal, Book, Stamp, and Food items for each set were mistakenly included in the reward pools for these chests. These items were not intended to be part of these chest rewards and were added inadvertently during an update.
As of June 25th at 11:45 AM ST, the reward pools for both chests have been corrected. You can always refer to the official breakdown of what's included with each chest here.
